Earn bragging rights – trade against your mates

There’s a simple thing you can do to take your trading to the next level, and it doesn’t cost a dollar.
There’s a simple thing you can do to take your trading to the next level, and it doesn’t cost a dollar. While most of us are aware of the sound advice to never swim, drink, or tango alone, a common fallacy amongst traders however, is to take the lone wolf approach. Trading with a friend has at least 3 major benefits:
    1. You’re both more likely to stick to your rules: Much like the reasoning for exercising with a friend – by having someone in the same boat, you both have expectations of each other that enable a higher standard of commitment to what you have set out to achieve.
    2. You’ll work harder to get an edge: By adding a competitive spirit to your trading, you’ll be sure to be at the top of your game. Taking in every piece of information available to make your best moves. We would however recommend avoiding doubling-down when you need to catch up fast
    3. It makes it more fun: By having someone to discuss strategies, stocks to watch, and who has bragging rights. You’ll find it much more difficult to keep away from your trading screen.
The Options Trading Game by ASX / TradeFloor has opened, and includes the ability to create a league and challenge your friends. It also includes a brand new education portal filled with hours of videos and content to take your trading to the next level.
